Yujia(Doris) Yao, D.D.S.

Dr. Yao was born and raised in China, and moved to the States at age of 15. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering at UCLA and her Doctor of Dental Surgeon (D.D.S.) degree at University of Michigan School of Dentistry. 

Dr. Yao truly believes in that dentistry doesn’t have to be painful. When you might think that’s what every dentist tells you, she gives out her 100% to make sure you feel as little pain as possible not only during the numbing, also throughout the procedure.

Dr. Yao practices dentistry with the goal of providing the highest standard of care to her patients with a reasonable price. She spends a lot of time attending courses in different area every year to refine her clinical skills and to keep up with the most current dental technology. 

In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, her dog Dumbo and four cats.

Tory Li, D.M.D.

Dr. Tory Li received her Doctorate Degree of Dental Medicine from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, School of Dental Medicine.

She is compassionate about providing personalized dentistry to meet not only her patient’s needs, but also their expectations. As a team, Dr. Li will work alongside you, thoroughly addressing any questions and concerns you may have about your dental health, treatment, and goals. She also speaks fluent Mandarin.

In her spare time when she is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys cooking, exercising, and traveling with her husband. Her favorite activity though is to spend quality time with friends and family exploring the restaurants in the Bay Area.

Yin Yin Chi, D.M.D

Dr. Yin Yin Chi is a dentist with international training, is proficient in Mandarin, English, Spanish, and Portuguese. After moving from Taiwan to Paraguay during her childhood, she pursued her studies and became a licensed general dentist. Over a period of 16 years, she built a thriving dental practice from scratch while also teaching at a dental school for approximately 11 years.

To provide better educational opportunities for her three children, Dr. Chi and her husband made the decision to relocate to the US. Despite this major change, her dedication to dentistry remained unwavering. She continued her education and obtained her second DMD degree in 2018. Presently, she joyfully serves a diverse range of patients in the Bay Area.

When not at work, she cherishes spending quality time with her family, whether it involves dining out at local restaurants or exploring various parts of the country through travel.

Yi (Ivy) Yang, D.D.S.

Dr. Yi (Ivy) Yang, D.D.S. was born and raised in Wenzhou, China. After high school, she came to the U.S. and completed her undergraduate degree in Physiological Science at UCLA. She then continued her education and got her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.

Dr.Yang is gentle, detail oriented, efficient, and always does the best to provide the best quality dentistry she can. She focuses on making the patient feel comfortable, educating them about their oral health, and providing the best treatment options for them. She truly believes everyone deserves a healthy and beautiful smile. Her patient can expect her to treat them with compassion, dedication and honesty while providing the highest level of dental care.
In her free time, Dr. Yang enjoys hiking and exploring nature with her family and her corgi Umi. She also loves cooking, exercising, binging documentaries and exploring the restaurant scene of the Bay Area.

Xin Fang, D.D.S.

Dr. Xin Fang is a dedicated dentist who earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. Committed to delivering comfortable, high-quality, and efficient dental care, Dr. Fang is passionate about building long-lasting relationships with her patients. She believes in personalized care and strives to ensure every smile reflects health and confidence.

Dr. Fang’s approach to dentistry is rooted in a gentle and compassionate manner, making every visit a positive experience. She stays updated with the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques to provide the best possible care.

Michelle Kasimi, D.M.D.

Dr. Michelle Kasimi was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, and graduated from Oregon Health and Science University. Recently relocating to the Bay Area, Dr. Kasimi is dedicated to providing exceptional dental care and ensuring that each patient feels comfortable during their visits. Fluent in Farsi and Dari, she creates an inclusive environment for her diverse patient base.

You can expect a warm, welcoming atmosphere where your concerns are heard, and your dental health is a top priority. Dr. Kasimi is known for her meticulous attention to detail, empathetic approach, and gentle touch, ensuring every patient feels cared for and valued.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Kasimi loves exploring new places around the Bay Area, traveling with her husband, and spending time with family.

Wei Chen (Wendy) Liang, D.D.S

Dr. Wendy Liang is a dedicated and compassionate dentist at Captain Dental, known for her patient-centered approach and gentle touch. Born in Taiwan and raised in San Jose, CA, Dr. Liang completed a rigorous six-year dental program at National Taiwan University, followed by four years of practice as a general dentist in Taiwan. She later earned her second Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry.

Dr. Liang is committed to providing a stress-free dental experience, ensuring minimal discomfort through her calm and meticulous approach. She continually stays up to date with the latest advancements in dental technology, allowing her to deliver exceptional care while educating patients about their treatment options.

Outside of the office, Dr. Liang enjoys spending time with her dog, Ollie, and engaging in activities like board games, puzzles, and tennis.

Ye Eun (Yenny) Choi, D.D.S.

Dr. Yenny Choi was born and raised in Korea and Canada, bringing a unique multicultural perspective to her practice. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.

Dr. Choi’s primary focus is on patient comfort, fully understanding that dental visits can be a significant and sometimes stressful experience. With her gentle touch and compassionate approach, she strives to ensure that every patient leaves feeling happier and healthier.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Choi is passionate about traveling and exploring new restaurants, always in search of unique and memorable experiences. An avid dog lover, she finds immense joy and fulfillment in the companionship of her furry friends.

Mariam Abadir, D.D.S.

Dr. Mariam Abadir works as an associate dentist here at Captain Dental and she is also a part-time clinical professor at UCSF.

Dr. Abadir was an associate dentist in Egypt for two years before coming to US. She has completed her DDS degree and graduated with high honors from UCSF.

Ever since she has been an excellent and passionate dentist who’s very organized and focused on her patients' goals and expectations. Dr. Abadir believes in gentle dentistry, quality dentistry and long term relationships with her patients.

Dr. Radhika Tandon - Endodontist

Dr. Radhika Tandon graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) program at Boston University. She spent an additional year there doing the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program. She then practiced as a general dentist for several years before returning to the University of Southern California (USC) where she received her Certificate in Advanced Endodontics.

Dr. Tandon is a Board eligible Endodontist. She is available for endodontic consultations and treatment including initial root canals and retreatments. She is a compassionate dentist who believes in providing a pain free experience.

Dr. Tandon is an active member of the American Association of Endodontics. She is fluent in English and Hindi and conversant in Spanish.

In her free time she enjoys playing golf, traveling and spending time with her husband and two children.

Dr. Roger Lau - Oral Surgeon

Originally from San Leandro, Dr. Lau's journey led him to complete his undergraduate and dental school education at UCLA. He further honed his expertise through oral surgery internships at prestigious medical centers in New York City, covering Montefiore, Mount Sinai, and Jacobi Medical centers.

Dr. Lau recently concluded his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency (2019-2023) at Allegheny General Hospital, a level 1 trauma center in Pittsburgh, PA.

We are privileged to welcome him back to the Bay Area, and his arrival brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm.Dr. Lau specializes in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures, with a particular interest in temporomandibular joint replacement.

His contributions extend beyond the operating room, as evidenced by his publications on salivary gland disorders in the Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, Oral Radiology (OOOO) Journal. Moreover, he was recognized as a finalist in the Merz Innovation Forum for his work on botulinum toxin in the correction of postoperative facial nerve weakness in TMJ replacement patients.
